2On Oct. 24 the varsity football team went out with a fizzle by a score of 45-14 against Hazelwood Central. This marked the eighth and final loss of this season. The team had a 2-8 record in Coach Pete Eberhardt’s first season.
To add injury to insult, senior Patrick Hoth, was knocked out during the first half of the game.
“I was going in for a tackle and I guess his knee went right into my head and kinda just knocked me out. I was out for about three minutes and then once I got to the side lines I started to regain my senses,” Hoth said.
