
On Aug. 8, math teacher and Sensations coach Roxanne Fetsch was admitted to the ER with severe back pain. Within the week, she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, also called ALL, a disease rarely found in young adults. Although it has a 95 percent survival rate when diagnosed early enough — which it was — the entire experience has been physically and emotionally taxing on Mrs. Fetsch.
