The team will be playing a total of at least six games this weekend; it is preparing to battle Ladue at 9:30, Chaminade at 11:40, and SLUH at 1:50. In order to play all these games to the team’s fullest ability, Coach Becker decided to pull eight junior varsity players up.
Losing to SLUH last year at state, the ultimate Frisbee team is making it one of its goals to beat SLUH this weekend. The team also is planning on finishing better than it did last year, fourth place.
“The team as a program has improved so much since last year,” said Becker. “I have also seen a lot of dedication out of this group and I’m sure they will do great at State.”
