On Friday and Saturday, the Spartans faced off against several teams on their home courts, in the Francis Howell Central Doubles Tournament. After a rough start on Friday night from playing state champions, they made a small comeback, placing fourth over all in the tournament.
Districts start on Oct. 1 and run through Oct. 3.
“As a whole, we did all right. Friday was not our strongest game for any of our players considering we played some really great teams. Saturday we did a lot better considering we were playing the lower ranked teams,” said senior Elise Thomas.
