Bullying gets personal

Bullying is an epidemic in schools across the states. it’s something we have all heard before but when it hits so close to home it’s personal. Bullying no doubt causes a multitude of other problems for a person and here they will be explored.
Bullying
Bullying is when someone is treated as subhuman repeatedly and is made to feel like they don't matter. Their only purpose is to be entertainment for their bully. “It made me feel like an outsider and like the only times people wanted me around was just to laugh at me and how dumb they thought i was” Jay Oor said.
Depression
Depression is a mental disorder that more people than you think may struggle with. There are good days and bad. The severity can change and you may just suddenly feel better. Anxiety
Anxiety interferes with a person's ability to do normal everyday tasks such as hanging out with friends, going to school, and doing homework. That panicky feeling you may feel before a test or presentation, well that’s all the time for no reason. “It almost feels as if everything wrong is slowly circling and closing in on you,” Jay Oor said.
Self-harm
Self-harm is not just cutting as it's commonly known. It’s anything to harm oneself, such as cutting, hitting yourself, and burning. It's a way to cope with a situation. ”Self-harm is different.
