Mrs. Shockley

Through high school, there have been many teachers that have impacted me. One of the ones that has left a great impact, is Mrs. Shockley. She teaches AP Lit, and let me tell you this: it’s lit. She makes every class period fun and enjoyable, and teaches us all about the different things we need to know for the AP test. She genuinely cares about each and every one of her students (even the ones who are accused of witchcraft), and she puts more time and effort into her class than I see from most teachers. She has an especially tough job, though, because she has to put up with students afflicted by senioritis. Yet she is always patient, and understanding, and kind, and makes senior year as enjoyable and fun as possible for her students. She has been a huge role model for me, as an aspiring teacher, and I hope to be as wonderful and great a teacher as she is someday.
