Eating Disorders
Josie Julien, Photographer
Eating disorders affect all walks of life. Bulimia, anorexia, and binge eating are all types of eating disorders. Most people are accustomed to associating skin and bones with them, but that’s not always the case. Eating to cope with emotion pain and stress is also quite common, maybe even more so than not eating. ”It’s in boys and girls, they feel that they aren’t comfortable in their body and they have a certain image they have to obtain and they see it in the media and people just don’t feel comfortable in their own skin and obviously there are physical effects when you don’t eat,” London Rogers said.
