“Earlier this April, at a very competitive track varsity meet at Kirkwood High School, three other extremely hard working guys and I accomplished what few could have expected that day. Against numerous inner city high schools, including SLUH and Normandy, the boys and I, incredibly, won the 4×400 meter relay-the last, and most important event of the meet. It was so amazing to give our hearts out there on the track-everything we had in us-and have it lead to such a victory. One of the best moments of my life.”
