Dear Mr. Messerli,

There has been no teacher who has impacted me as person more than you. Thanks to your teaching, I’ve been on cloud nine for the past 4 months after making the Colts drum and bugle corps. The value of hard work you taught and the advice you gave helped make me into someone who tries their absolute hardest to achieve what they want and not just put it off until next year. The band program has given me a boost in confidence and made me a better musician. Because of band I have found my passion and I plan to go to school for it in the future. I might try to get on the staff of a marching band after I graduate to make some extra money and get some experience teaching. I just want to thank you for the past 3 years. For teaching and for inspiring me to play my instrument for whoever is watching.
