On Monday, Sept. 25, the JV Lady Spartans softball team hosted the Troy Trojans. From the beginning Troy came out on top and scored several runs to put them ahead. The Spartans fought well, but could not get into a stride which ultimately led to their 25-2 defeat.
“Troy is one of the best programs in this area so we knew it was going to be a tough game up against them. Unfortunately for us, Troy came out from the get go and had a lot of great hits and made some crucial plays which made it difficult for us to come back,” Coach Allie Jennings said.
