On Oct. 1, nine seniors played their final home softball game against Fort Zumwalt South. The ceremony started at 4:00 and the game began at 4:15, and ended with a 7-3 win by the Spartans.

The Spartans started the 9 graduating seniors who said this moment was bittersweet.The team was determined to win and they were excited to beat the bulldogs. Thank you to our nine seniors. The nine seniors were Haley Allen, Satiah Duval, Sarah Kabacinki, Kristen Kolkmeyer, Lindsey Lewis, Alyssa Mathis, Amanda Ottinger, Kaylee Sheridan, and Becca Stocker.  

“Well, it was kind of upsetting that I had just played my last home game since I’d been playing on that field since freshmen year, “ said Haley Allen, starting shortstop. “I’m very excited about our chances in districts because we have been playing way better lately and came so close to winning (districts) last year.”
