you left in the middle of everything
we meant the world to each other
i know you’ll be back
its just so hard to deal
with the pain of you being gone
you’re off at war now
far away but not far enough
love still lasting
knowing i’ll be here waiting
till the day you’re back
the feeling of being in your arms
is a safe feeling
something i can’t shake
you being gone makes it worse
i don’t feel safe
we’ll be together again soon
it won’t be long till you’re home
then all the time in the world is ours
no one can take that away
we were meant to be

it cannot be self-taught just earned
if one is upset
then you can just bet
that you will not get what you want

Swiftly flowing
Through dirt and
Rocks, waiting to
Emerge
At a location
Miles away

truth
reality, hurtful
hurting, revealing, dividing
the truth can set you free
honesty

Whose friend was a slimy blue frog
They had lots of fun
Outside in the sun
Until they smacked into a log
