On Jan. 6 the freshman basketball team had a close game that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. The Spartans lost 35-34 against Timberland High School.

The team had issues with the pressures of the game, along with bad turnovers. Freshman Kaleb Anderson is upset with the performance of the team.  

“We didn’t play with the intensity we usually do. It hurts losing by one [point]. I know it sounds weird, but I’d rather get blown up than lose by one,” Anderson said.
