As Friday approaches, another varsity boys basketball game comes close. The seats fill with cheering fans and the band fills the air with their fight song. Minutes before the game, the players get in a few practice shots to make sure they’re ready for the long night to come.

But behind closed doors, the players have been working hard all week for the upcoming games. Their passion for the game is shown through their eyes as they run down the court and their effort further proves their dedication.

Their brotherly bond is shown on and off the courts by their support for each other. “I feel good having a group of guys around me that I can count on and to have my back,” said junior Nathan Garthe.
