On the night of Sept. 8, the varsity soccer team faced Troy at home in what ended up being a successful night for the Spartans.  The ending score was 4-0, in Central’s favor.  The night was a success for the players and coaches, as prior in the season, they had lost most of the games.

“It was nice getting a win and bouncing back.  The team was working better as a whole as well,” according to senior Nathan Smith.  

“Now that we’re getting back into the swing of things, [we’re] progressing forward throughout the season,” junior Joey Mueller said.  

The team starts the CYC tournament at the beginning of homecoming week.
