DECA dodges and dives for dodgeball
Thursday night, Oct. 27, the large gym was filled with pumped DECA dodgeball students who were determined to win for their team.
The night consisted of fast throws, whistles, cheering, anticipation, and the sounds of music and announcement of winning teams blaring through the speakers. Each team wore a theme that included splattered multicolors, All-American, and even middle-aged dads. Though some though the tournament would consist of a large audience in the bleachers, the night turned out to be a solo battle between each other out of fun and competition.
“It’s a community event where you connect together more as a club and for us to just have fun on a night out in the town, except the town is actually Central,” Trent Diener said.
