The boys basketball team took on Fort Zumwalt West and lost 68-46 on Jan. 20. West held the lead at 35-30 when halftime ended and kept it the rest of the game. Although the game ended badly for Central, they had kept up with the other team until halftime.

Though ending in defeat, senior Marcus James is hoping for a good finish to the season.

“We played well the first half, but we didn’t come to play with our heads in the game. I hope that my boys and I will come out with some more wins before the season ends,” James said.
