FHC hosted the first meet of the season last week. Natalie Green broke the record for shot put by just half an inch on March 29. She was surprised that she was able to do it this early into the season.

Natalie didn’t expect to beat the record but it was an amazing feeling after they had announced it. Overall, Central had came out with a good result for their first meet.
“When I broke the school record, at first it didn’t even cross my mind that I was capable of doing it this early in the season. My previous pr (personal record) was within an inch from the previous record which was 37 ft. 2 1/2 in. I broke the record throwing the shot put 37 ft. 3 in,” Green said.
