Disappointing loss for varsity soccer
In an intense 90 minute battle against Fort Zumwalt West on April 10, our varsity girls’ soccer team lost 0-1.
FZW scored early on which prompted FHC to push harder with both offense and defense. Junior, Jenna Mathis, explained that they entered the game “expecting a good match” due to West’s previous success this season.
Captain, Jadeyn Viola, made a goal that was unfortunately called back by officials at the game. She described how she thought they had greater possession of the ball, but “just couldn’t score.”
The girls will next host Lafayette on Friday, April 20 at 6:00 pm.
