In the annual Fleet Feet Kickoff, the Cross Country team joins together with several other schools to beat the heat and showcase the start of the season. In the two mile race, the runners conquered various terrains while facing the intense heat of the day.

    “I think that this race is one of my favorites for the season. For one thing it’s shorter, but it’s also more of a fun race for everyone and not as intense as others,” runner Blake Painter said.

     With the kickoff race in the books, the Cross Country team hopes to continue to move forward and improve their skills, while continuing to have fun for the rest of the season.
