Game changing half for soccer districts
November 12, 2018
Francis Howell Central battled against Fort Zumwalt West during soccer districts on October 30. The boys had high hopes for the game, hoping to advance on for the season. The boys were victorious during the first half, pulling a score of 3-0. However, during the second half, the scoreboard flipped and Spartans lost 3-4.
“It was a tough loss for the team, we all hoped to advance,” junior Chris Boerding said. While the season came to a rough end for the varsity boys, they were proud of how well they played and the ultimate sportsmanship of the team.
With the season at its end, varsity boys will look for improvement next season.
