On Feb. 8, the Spartans looked to make a statement on one of the most anticipated nights of their season: the pink-out game. The game started fast-paced as the Spartans took control of the driver’s seat by constantly stealing the ball and effortlessly laying it up for two points. As the lead grew the sea of pink in the crowd grew louder and louder as players like Myles Estrada would nail a deep three-pointer and the crowd would go crazy. After the first half, the Spartans looked to finish off the Indians and seal the victory, but players like Kaleb Anderson wanted to give fans a lasting impression by dunking and when everyone thought the crowd couldn’t get any more crazy, Anderson sure proved them wrong. The Spartans strolled past Holt and sealed the victory as they looked forward to districts.
