Monday, Sept. 15, Central’s freshman football team went head-to-head with Troy Buchanan. Starting with a strong offense, the Spartans didn’t lose a beat and defeated the Trojans with a  35 -14 score.

Throughout the game, teammates cheered each other on and coaches were very supportive of their players. The team displayed great leadership between Coach Donald Lober and freshman team captain, Logan Gallagher.

“I was pretty impressed, I thought they did a good job of executing and we were pleased to give every freshman on the squad an opportunity to have meaningful playing time,” said Coach Lober.
