Honestly...
Any cheering is appreciated by runners. Some more than others, but we will accept any break from the monotony of running. At least these cheers give us something to be mad about, and maybe we can channel our anger into passing the next person. If you have the patience to watch a bunch of people run by one by one, then I guess you've earned the right to yell whatever you want.
