Three Spartans named to AllStar team

Every year the Mid States Hockey Association hosts the Senior AllStar Game; two hockey players (and a goalie) from each school have the opportunity to be chosen by coaches to play.

After the Spartan Hockey club’s 15-6-1 season, three students were selected to play in the 2015 Senior AllStar Game. Goalie Graham Nave, defenseman Andy Moats, and forward Shane Quinn were nominated this year.

“It was an honor to play in the AllStar Game. It didn’t really hit me that it was my last high school hockey experience until after the game,” Nave said.

Nave and Quinn hope to play hockey together again at Missouri State University in the fall.
