Literary magazine tosses ideas
Literary magazine is meant to showcase student work such as poetry, short stories, artwork, paintings and drawings. According to the sponsor Matthew Schott, literary magazine did not publish last year. Sept. 21, was the first meeting that three members from last year’s literary magazine attended.
The literary magazine is scheduled to be published in April with full-colored pages to show off student work.
They are asking for student submissions, and at future meetings they will discuss their ideas and look for a theme, according to Mr. Schott.
“I was in it last year, but we ended up not publishing; it didn’t come together,” junior Madeline Wilson said. “We didn’t have a big staff because of scheduling. Anyone can submit what they create, whether it’s poetry, short stories or other art work.”
