During the All-District Choir auditions last week, 13 members of FHC choir auditioned to be part of the ensemble. Ten of the auditionees made it into the choir. Out of those ten, seven qualified to audition for the Missouri All-State Choir.
“This is a huge accomplishment, and I am very proud of them,” said Choir Director Elisabeth Baird.
The ten chosen for districts are seniors Anna Gingrich, Margaret Borgmeyer, Melissa Mossinghoff, Andrea Steinbach, Dustin Burton, Claire Henderson, Joshua Burns, Spencer Millfelt and Kyle Chumbley, along with sophomore Rebecca Johnson.
Gingrich, Borgmeyer, Mossinghoff, Burton, Burns, Millfelt and Chumbley scored high enough to qualify to audition for All-State Choir.
These members of the choir will be performing in the district choir concert in November, and if anyone makes it into the All-State choir they will be performing in January.
