As a grandmother of 5 children in the district and previously had 4 children go through the Francis Howell School District I just want to say that great schools will insure great neighborhoods. People that won’t invest in their school don’t invest in the future and are very short sighted. My son with Down Syndrome graduated from this district and now holds a job and has as much independence as he can safely manage. I attribute that to great neighborhoods that insured great schools and vice versa. I no longer have children in the district. Only grandchildren. However we can not be short sighted but must leave an even better school system than what we knew. We should always leave our offspring better than we were if at all possible. Don’t let the schools lose services. The ones who lose are the children
