Former Spartan athletic greats honored
Jones, Howard inducted into GAC, school halls of fame.

The girls varsity basketball game against Francis Howell North was long awaited for multiple people. Not only were the girls hyped to play a conference rival, two of Central’s most decorated athletes would be honored for their time and commitment to the schools sports programs.
Current junior varsity girls basketball coach Sharese Jones was inducted into the GAC Hall of Fame. Current San Francisco Giants prospect Ryan Howard was inducted into GAC Hall of Fame and Francis Howell Central Hall of Fame.
The girls basketball team won by a 30-point margin against Francis Howell North.
