A close call

On Tuesday, January 22, the girls Junior Varsity basketball team put up an exceptional fight against Fort Zumwalt West. The score fluctuated between each team, and as the game progressed, it became even more competitive. Although the team utilized good teamwork and communication, Zumwalt West took the win with a final score of 31-38.
“We stay motivated by each other and our energy because we all want to win,” Sophomore Jordan Hesse said. “We know some games will be tougher [than others], but we’re just going to fight till the end.”
The Junior Varsity girls return to the court for a tournament hosted by Parkway South beginning January 28.
