Varsity soccer falls to vikings

There was a lot of tension between the rivals on the field and a lot of shots on goal as our varsity boys soccer team fell to Francis Howell High with a score of 2-0 in a tough game. On Sept. 12, the Spartans put up a good fight on Howell’s home turf, but the Vikings came out victorious.

“As of right now there’s a bunch of individual players,” junior, Luke Fisher says. “If we can work as a team and bond more I think we can really improve our season.”

The team will have the chance to work on this and improve before they rematch the Vikings on Oct. 19 with the home field advantage.
