Battling through the pain

The FHC boys soccer team faces many different opponents throughout their season. However, on Tuesday, Sept 23, they faced a particularly aggressive team, the FZW Jaguars. Throughout the game, yellow cards were given out and the players endured some minor injuries.

The hostile play earned FZW their only goal, which resulted from a penalty kick. Despite the difficult interactions, FHC pulled through and scored two goals, ultimately winning the game.

“When games become aggressive, I try to stay calm and keep playing the game, even if my teammates are angry”, junior Jimmy Sanchez said.

The team returns home for a tournament beginning Sept 30.
