GQ Day was an opportunity for students and fashionistas alike to show off some style. Tuxedos, stilettos and fancy dresses could be seen all around campus. More than just a day to dress up, GQ Day offers students a stylish chance to demonstrate school spirit.
“We’re trying to get some school spirit rallied up for homecoming; plus, it’s fun to dress up,” said Student Council Treasurer David Lanza. “The main goal of this week is to get kids excited for the dance and to show some school pride. [StuCo] voted to have GQ Day because generally people like dressing up at least one day a year.”
Dressing up gives students a different way to show their school pride, rather than donning the usual school colors.
