The speech and debate team competed at Parkway South High School for districts in February this year. Just one member per team could compete in each event, five students at FHC competed but only two were finalists. Freshman Chelsea Varone finished ninth and sophomore Suzanne Bell finished sixth in the final round, only the top four in each category continued to the state competition.
