No matter what the question you have, on or off topic, he will lessen and do his best to answer the question. This teacher make a personal sacrifice to stay after school to give one-on-one attention to any of his students who come up and ask. Having to teach at two schools might slow down some teachers, but not this one.

When I was working on my solo or my audition, he would gladly stay late or to come back to school to help me. Any question about my instrument, about theory, about colleges, or about careers in music i would always get a answer that would help me. This is somebody who I am able to go and talk to if I ever had a problem. This is the fourth year of having Andrew Messerli as my teacher and I am excited to have another year with him.
