For the past two years I have had you as a teacher, first in government and now in AP U.S history, you have taught me more about history than I could possibly imagine. I have always been interested in history, but the way you teach history makes it a lot more interesting to learn. And, without a doubt, “Rickerdy” was one of the most entertaining games I have ever played in a classroom. While it would teach us a great deal of history, it enabled us to have fun while doing so. You have always taught history like a story, which always made it more intriguing to listen to and take notes. I will always be thankful to have had you as a teacher also for preparing me for college, giving the class advice that I have taken into account, and always making sure that I work hard and try hard on all of my assignments.

Mr. Ricker, I just wanted to take this time and personally thank you for everything, because you really have helped me maintain good work ethic and ensured that my work was of good quality. Thank you for making history exciting.
