Friends do everything together

All shared by common interests

If one goes down they both go down

If one goes to jail the other says I’m going too

They hang out outside

They run the countryside

They’re always side by side

What happens when it falls apart

When it doesn’t seem right

One thing led to another

Next thing you know, you don’t want to be apart

When one thing interferes, it’s all over

The common interest is no longer common

The trust if gone

The trust is for someone else

No longer side by side

It’s been ten years since last by my side.
