No.1- Harry Styles by Harry Styles

This album is Harry Styles’ debut solo album after One Direction’s decision to go on hiatus. Styles took inspiration from artists and groups like David Bowie, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Fleetwood Mac. The album has some rock style songs that will pump you up, but there are also slower songs with nice lyrics that will make you think. This is my number 1 album, because I truly fell in love with every single song on it.

No.2- MTV Unplugged in New York by Nirvana

I started to like Nirvana because they reminded me of listening to the live bands that play at my church picnic every year. This album is so good because it consists of original and covered songs performed live by Nirvana. Overall, I just really love the way this album sounds and I feel like I can listen to it when I’m in any mood.

No.3- Supermodel by Foster the People

Foster the People was one of the first bands that I really started listening to and their second album, “Supermodel”, is my favorite. This album is really different from their first and their second album, because the songs on it are more calm than the group’s usual electro-pop sounding songs. Just like “Harry Styles”, this album has songs that will make you happy and songs that will make you think.

No.4- Don’t Smile at Me at Billie Eilish

“Don’t Smile at Me” was Billie Eilish’s debut album. He was only 15 years old when the album was released, and has since gained a lot of attention and a very quickly growing fanbase. Eilish’s album has an indie/alternative sound that’s overall unique, which is why it gained so much attention. I choose this album for my list, because I really love the overall tone of it.

No.5- Censored Colors by Portugal The Man

“Censored Colors” by Portugal The Man has very catchy songs with lots of meaning. I enjoy this album because the songs on it are nice to listen to anytime, and the overall feeling of the album is great. This album is very calming, and I like to listen to it when I’m reading or before I go to sleep.
