On Saturday September 29, homecoming morning, FHC parent club hosted the inaugural Spartan Sprint. Around 50 racers came to attend the two mile race around Central and Saeger Middle School with the fastest time being just over 12 minutes.

Organizers Anna Jones and Amy McEvoy considers the event a major success and everyone was pleased with how it went.

“The runners were great, the sponsors were great… It’s just a great way to connect to the community,” Jones said.

The parent club is hopeful for next year’s race and they hope that it will be just as much a success as the first.
