Central’s hockey team defeated Holt High 11-5 on Monday, Nov. 19. Holt put up more of a fight this time as Central had defeated them earlier this season 9-0 on Nov. 2.

Jack Ortinau, a starting player, said the strategy of the game was to apply pressure on the other team to gain control of the puck. “We had to forecheck hard because they couldn’t handle the puck very well. So if we put a lot of pressure on them, they lose the puck,” Jack Ortinau said.

Their next game is against Francis Howell North on Nov 30.
