All in against Chaminade

All day, the boys soccer team’s blood was boiling in anticipation to play against powerhouse team Chaminade, on Thursday, Sep. 5. Chaminade, ranked 4th in the state, would be a tough feat but FHC was ready to take them on with a 2-0 record under their belt. The game was intense, the boys working as hard as they could, however, Chaminade proved victorious, with a 2-1 win over the Spartans. The goal was scored by senior forward Connor Schmitz.

“Getting the goal was great motivation for my team to work harder,” Schmitz said. “We just couldn’t get past their defense. We could have done better.”

Now with a 2-1 record, Central goes on to play, rival, Francis Howell on Sept. 11 at Howell.
