I chose Mr. Jury as my teacher for Teacher Appreciation Week because he has left the biggest impact on my education. Since eighth grade, he has been my all-time favorite teacher. He has always put my well-being first, and makes sure I am succeeding, and helping me rather than letting me fail. He always asks me about my weekends and checks up with me on my mental health. He always makes me feel welcome in his classroom, no matter the time of day. Sophomore year when I found out I had the opportunity to be a teacher’s aide for him, I was ecstatic. I was beyond excited to be in the classroom again with my favorite teacher. Now, junior year, I still continue to help and be a teacher’s aid for him. Everyday in the hallway, he waves to me and asks me how I’m doing, maybe a high five once-in-a-while. He always puts his students first and helps them in any way he can. Mr. Jury has always been the kindest to me, and I couldn’t thank him enough. I am beyond appreciative for everything he has done for me, and his students.
