Guidance deals with a lot of a little

Guidance continues running many individual projects, but at the moment are not dealing with any very pressing matters, according to counselor Mrs. Michelle Breuer.

“We’re just trying to get our ducks in a row,” said Mrs. Breuer.

The counselors are currently working with general counseling, and still planning for registration and how they can be of assistance to students. They also keep an eye on their seniors, to aid them with their college applications.

Coming up, however, is the meeting with sophomores about the Lewis and Clark tech school. Those who are interested will be introduced to the program more thoroughly to discuss whether or not they would participate in the program. Those who are not interested will be included in a discussion of ACT information and the importance of it.

The guidance office usually meets every Monday to plan out for the week.

“A lot of times we have to prepare for things in advance; two or three weeks in advance,” said Mrs. Breuer.
