Spartans secure first home win
On Sept. 11 the Spartans had their first home game against the Trojans winning 31-14.
The Spartans put up their best game on that night. The varsity boys were hoping for a great outcome for their first home game and that’s exactly what they got. Not only did this give them hope but it brought up their expectations for the rest of the season.
“That really [brought] up our season, our intensity at practice and we had more effort at practice all the following weeks before that, we had a lot more confidence, nobody heads down, nothing,” sophomore Dylan Thaxton said.
