    Spring fever

Good golly, Miss Molly, spring break is on the horizon. Thank you baby Jesus, because I feel like a zombie. I cannot verbally express how excited I am to be able to sleep in. To be able to bum around in my pajamas. To be able to hang out with my friends. The feeling I have as this week fades away is less of an excitement and more of a relief.

I mean, yeah, I’m excited – what sane teen wouldn’t be? But, more than that, I am just needing a break from the constant pressure school puts on us all.

The only downside of spring break is the knowledge that when we come back it will be forth quarter. Which means that the end is near. Which means that I will be graduating soon. Which makes me want to piddle my pants.

I seriously still feel like a freshman – I’m not ready to leave yet.

A part of me wants to, the part that doesn’t feel like waking up early and dealing with crabby teachers. But, the small child in me just wants to curl up in bed and avoid growing up.

I don’t want to be a grown up yet.
