‘Don’t eat anything you find!’
Environmental Science class recycles materials every Wednesday from around the school.
On Oct. 27 during fourth hour, Mrs. Paula Pettig’s Environmental Studies class went elbows deep into trash. All of Mrs. Pettig’s Environmental Studies classes participated in a lab where the students had to sort through trash, categorize it and recycle the items that were able to be recycled.
“Don’t eat anything you find!” Pettig said repeatedly.
Pettig’s fourth hour class sorted through trash from around the whole school, including the café. They were able to recycle many bottles that got thrown away without eating anything they found.
