A celebration of the New Year
The International club celebrated Chinese new year Jan 23. with various activities and presentations from fellow Asian-American junior Siyi Wang and Chinese (language) teacher Mrs. Chen
Wang prepared a slide show for the rest of international club, while Mrs. Chen brought in paint brushes to teach Chinese calligraphy, a form of calligraphy widely practiced in china.
“Experience does for the soul as education does for the mind ,” Jacob Salser said while being taught how to hold the brush as well as how to perform the artwork
