Sensations show support

This Saturday, the Sensations supported the boys basketball team by traveling to the Family Arena. The team had the opportunity to play teams outside of their conference in this “GAC shootout”, and the the dance team went to cheer, or dance, them on.

“It was really quiet because there weren’t a lot of people there, just a few parents,” said senior Emily Snider.

The Sensations performed their hip hop routine for the fans that did attend. This routine is the same dance that they perform at competitions.

“It was hard because we were missing a lot of girls,” said Snider. “A lot were sick or just busy because it was Saturday afternoon.”

Tonight, the team will again show their support for the basketball team by dancing at the varsity game. They continue to prepare for the St. Charles High School competition and nationals, which will take place in February.
