Another Win For The Spartans!
With the kick off of the first home football game, the expectations were set high for this year’s team on August 25. With a score of two wins and zero losses: students, families, and teammates are excited to see where this season goes.
On Friday, Aug. 25, the Spartans went against the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs, with the Spartans coming out on top with a score of 58-13. This victory has improved their score to 2-0. This is the first time since 2001. The Spartans were fired up by an amazing student section with many chants as well with the marching band playing hype songs.
“After the game I felt just a crazy amount of like happiness this was the first time since 2001 that we’ve gone two and zero as a football team. It’s just a crazy feeling that wow you’re successful everyone notices that you guys are finally winning games and stuff and it’s just like you know that you have to practice harder and harder as the weeks go by so it’s just crazy,’’ said Zach Bishop
Next football game is Sept. 1 at Saint Charles West.
