A great start to the Homecoming weekend

Following tradition, Central opened up the homecoming weekend with the annual homecoming parade. Although there weren’t as many floats as years prior, the excitement was bigger than ever. With most every club and sport participating, there was no lack of candy or school spirit.

An occurring theme throughout the parade was support for Mrs. Fetsch, our math teacher and the sensations coach. She is currently fighting with leukemia, and it seemed every other shirt was in support for her.

“I think it really gets people in the spirit, ” said senior, Cameron Zalmanoff. “It engages the community, and encourages people to come out and be a part of the school.”
